Featuring a dazzling score by the inimitable composer Yoko Kanno, this full, multi-volume soundtrack blends the dreamlike and imaginative future sounds of the title's fictional virtual pop idol, Sharon Apple, with the soaring pomp and orchestral splendour of it's intense airborne action into an eclectic and astonishing compilation of unrivaled musical accomplishment. Presented over a set of seven 12" vinyl LPs and comprising four collected soundtracks, this Deluxe Edition also contains Macross Plus itself on Blu-ray in both it's theatrical and four-part OVA formats, allowing you to fully appreciate the majesty of the music within it's native setting. Macross Plus is set in the year 2040 on the distant planet Eden, where former childhood friends Isamu Dyson and Guld Goa Bowman find themselves pitted against each other as test pilots of rival teams in a competition to decide the next generation of variable mecha fighters. The two must also deal with their own unresolved history with mutual love interest, Myung Fang Lone, who has returned as the manager of Sharon Apple, the AI pop star (virturoid) and the galaxy's biggest singing sensation. When Sharon's advanced artificial intelligence gains consciousness, Isamu, Myung, and Guld must face their turbulent past and come together as Sharon Apple becomes self-aware and takes control of the Macross battlefortress itself!

Overnight Shipping: allow 1-2 business days for delivery. All products will be shipped via UPS Next Day Air or FedEx Next Day Air. 

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all products purchased from Victrola.com. All items must be returned as new in their original packaging, including all accessories and cables. Albums must be unopened to receive a refund. Missing items will be charged based on suggested retail prices.

All returns must be accompanied by a valid return authorization number (RMA) issued by Victrola. If an RMA is not obtained prior to shipping, the returned product will be refused and returned to sender.

If the item is no longer wanted, the shipping cost is not refundable and returns must be shipped prepaid by the customer. There is a 15% restocking fee that will be calculated based on the price of the product once the item is refunded.

If the item is defective, a pre-paid shipping label to return the product will be provided, and no restocking fee applies.
