The legendary 1994 movie The Shawshank Redemption was written and directed by Frank Darabont, based on a 1982 novella by Stephen King. The movie tells the story of two convicts who, over the course of several years, form a friendship, seeking consolation and, eventually, redemption through basic compassion. Upon it's release, The Shawshank Redemption was nominated for seven Academy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. It's score was composed by multiple award winner Thomas Newman. The score was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 1994, which was Newman's first Oscar nomination. A central scene in the film features the soprano 'Letter Duet' ('Canzonetta sull'aria') from Mozart's 'The Marriage of Figaro', which is included on the soundtrack. All returns must be accompanied by a valid return authorization number (RMA) issued by Victrola. If an RMA is not obtained prior to shipping, the returned product will be refused and returned to sender.
