Vinyl LP pressing including digital download. John Denvers Greatest Hits was released in late 1973 for the holiday shopping season. The collection included material from his earlier days as a songwriter going back to 1965 on For Bobbie to his later hit Rocky Mountain High. Greatest Hits is important historically because it contained new revisionist recordings of several songs. Notable new versions included Leaving on a Jet Plane Starwood in Aspen Follow Me Rhymes and Reasons The Eagle and the Hawk Sunshine On My Shoulders and Poems Prayers and Promises. Denver explained this himself in the liner notes by saying that he had picked the numbers most requested in his concerts but that I felt that some of these songs had grown a bit that I am singing better than I was four or five years ago and that I would like to treat some of the songs a little differently than I had in the original recordings.

We make every effort to ship your order as soon as possible. However, please allow 1-3 business days for your order to process when calculating delivery dates.
Standard Shipping: allow 7-10 business days for delivery. Albums will be shipped via USPS Media Mail; all other products via UPS or FedEx Ground.
Expedited Shipping: allow 2-5 business days for delivery. Albums will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail; all other products via UPS or FedEx 2-Day Air.
Overnight Shipping: allow 1-2 business days for delivery. All products will be shipped via UPS or FedEx Next Day Air.
Shipping is available to the 48 contiguous United States. We are unable to ship to International, PO Box, or APO/FPO addresses.
3. Return Policy
We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all products purchased from Victrola.com. All items must be returned as new in their original packaging, including all accessories and cables. Missing items will be charged based on suggested retail prices. All returns must be accompanied by a valid return authorization number (RMA) issued by Victrola. If an RMA is not obtained prior to shipping, the returned product will be refused and returned to sender. Shipping cost is not refundable and returns must be shipped prepaid by the customer. There is a 15% restocking fee that will be calculated based on the price of the product once the item is refunded.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase and the merchandise is unopened, we will be happy to exchange it for you. No refunds will be given on opened albums, unless damaged or defective. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable, and you will be responsible for all costs associated with return shipment.
