Double 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Recorded on October 17th, 1970, just months after his previous group Brian Auger, Julie Driscoll and The Trinity had split up, this the first ever live Oblivion Express recording, captured on tape a year before this influential group released their first album. The set list includes early versions of their debut album's tracks and amazing covers, including Herbie Hancock's 'Maiden Voyage,' Gabriel Fauré's 'Pavane,' and Brian's take on Sly and The Family Stone's 'I Wanna Take You Higher,'. The 12-page booklet features the band's history from it's formation, with Brian Auger recalling how festival organiser Claude Nobs gave the group this early opportunity. First ever release. Recorded live at Montreux Super Pop 1970. Restored and fully remastered from the original Montreux archive tapes. Recorded at the beginning of the band's career, before their debut album, this features an early line up which included Keith Bailey on drums, the only recording he made with the band. Includes a 12-page booklet with a new interview of Brian Auger recalling this performance at the festival. Sound quality restored and improved, fully remastered Mono. Approx. 60 minutes of music.

Overnight Shipping: allow 1-2 business days for delivery. All products will be shipped via UPS Next Day Air or FedEx Next Day Air. 

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all products purchased from Victrola.com. All items must be returned as new in their original packaging, including all accessories and cables. Albums must be unopened to receive a refund. Missing items will be charged based on suggested retail prices.

All returns must be accompanied by a valid return authorization number (RMA) issued by Victrola. If an RMA is not obtained prior to shipping, the returned product will be refused and returned to sender.

If the item is no longer wanted, the shipping cost is not refundable and returns must be shipped prepaid by the customer. There is a 15% restocking fee that will be calculated based on the price of the product once the item is refunded.
