Bob Dylan: Nashville Skyline

This is a recent album I’ve learned to love during quarantine 2020. My college friend recommended it and I really took to it. I’ve always liked Bob Dylan and this album is the first I loved all the way through. I took a road trip to my college town this summer and this album was on the playlist. It’s old folk, acoustic rock style just hit me hard and got stuck to my bones.

The Eagles: Hotel California

One of the greatest albums of all time! When I inherited my parents old record collection, this was one of the records I knew was special in my family. My dad is a huge eagles fan so I knew it would be one of the records that had been used a lot. Unfortunately time took a toll on it and it was too warped and scratched from years in a basement. It is on my top list of re-adding to my collection.

Elton John: Caribou

First concert was Elton John at Saratoga Performing Art Center (SPAC) in 1982. I remember hearing “The Bitch is Back” and was an Elton fan ever since.

Green Day: American Idiot

“Wake Me Up When September Ends” and this entire album had a huge impact on me during a very difficult time in my life.

The Grateful Dead: American Beauty

“Truckin’”, “Friend of the Devil”, “Sugar Magnolia” and “Ripple” are staples in the Grateful Dead catalogue, and they all come from this incredible album. In “American Beauty” country rock meets psychedelic rock in a perfect marriage.

The Police: Ghost in the Machine

In the early 80’s, The Police were at the top of their game, combining raw alt-reggae with pop rock musicianship. MTV favorites like: “Spirits in the Material World”, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic” and “Invisible Sun” are staples from a great era of music.

Billie Eilish: Don't Smile At Me

I love Billie Eilish so much that I must say I listen to her songs at least once a day. I love her unique style and her soothing voice.

Selena Gomez: Rare

When this album came out I listened to it in it’s entirety the day it was released. I have been following Selena since she started in Disney, and I absolutely love this album as it demonstrates her growth as an artist.
