1. Product Details

Triple vinyl LP pressing in tri-gatefold cover. Considering the monumental depth of Sun Ras recorded oeuvre there are surprisingly few solo piano albums. Monorails and Satellites Volumes 1 and 2 were the first commercial LPs of the artists solo keyboard excursions. Recorded in 1966 and released on his Saturn imprint in 1968 Volume 1 featured seven idiosyncratic originals and one standard Easy Street delivered in Sunnys singular manner. Volume 2 was released the following year and contains five compositions all originals. A third volume was prepped but shelved and this deluxe edition marks its premiere release. As with all Cosmic Myth releases these volumes are superbly mastered with copious liners notes by renown American jazz pianist Vijay Iyer and additional overviews by jazz historian Ben Young and producer Irwin Chusid.

If your order contains multiple items, it may ship from different warehouse locations. Tracking information will be sent as items are shipped.

We make every effort to ship your order as soon as possible. However, please allow 1-3 business days for your order to process when calculating delivery dates.

Please ensure your address is entered correctly. We are unable to redirect to an alternate shipping address once an order is placed. Orders sent to an address entered incorrectly will not be refunded or replaced.

Standard Shipping: allow 7-10 business days for delivery. Albums will be shipped via USPS Media Mail; all other products via UPS or FedEx Ground.

Expedited Shipping: allow 2-5 business days for delivery. Albums will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail; all other products via UPS or FedEx 2-Day Air.

Overnight Shipping: allow 1-2 business days for delivery. All products will be shipped via UPS or FedEx Next Day Air.

Shipping is available to the 48 contiguous United States. We are unable to ship to International, PO Box, or APO/FPO addresses.

3. Return Policy

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all products purchased from Victrola.com. All items must be returned as new in their original packaging, including all accessories and cables. Missing items will be charged based on suggested retail prices. All returns must be accompanied by a valid return authorization number (RMA) issued by Victrola. If an RMA is not obtained prior to shipping, the returned product will be refused and returned to sender. Shipping cost is not refundable and returns must be shipped prepaid by the customer.
