Movin Along finds Wes Montgomery sharing the front-line with flutist and saxophonist James Clay backed by the Cannonball Adderley Quintet rhythm section of the day: Victor Feldman on piano who had replaced Bobby Timmons after a short stint by Barry Harris Sam Jones on bass and Louis Hayes on drums. This is Montgomerys session wrote John A. Tynan on Down Beat and the opening solos fall to him. A compelling guitarist he motivates a drive unleavened by essentially melodic ideas. His tone is solid sure and large radiating self-assurance in what he wants to do. He switches to bass guitar on Tune-Up Sandu and Body. One delight in this album worth noting is Feldmans deeply grooving solo on the up-tempoed Body. Here the onetime Cannonball Adderley rhythm section is at its best.

Expedited Shipping: allow 2-5 business days for delivery. Albums will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail; all other products via UPS or FedEx 2-Day Air.
Overnight Shipping: allow 1-2 business days for delivery. All products will be shipped via UPS or FedEx Next Day Air.
Shipping is available to the 48 contiguous United States. We are unable to ship to International, PO Box, or APO/FPO addresses.Â
3. Return Policy
We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all products purchased from Victrola.com. All items must be returned as new in their original packaging, including all accessories and cables. Missing items will be charged based on suggested retail prices. All returns must be accompanied by a valid return authorization number (RMA) issued by Victrola. If an RMA is not obtained prior to shipping, the returned product will be refused and returned to sender. Shipping cost is not refundable and returns must be shipped prepaid by the customer. There is a 15% restocking fee that will be calculated based on the price of the product once the item is refunded.Â
