Marking Numans 22nd full-length of his career Savage follows 2013s Splinter Songs From a Broken Mind. Produced by Ade Fenton and recorded in Los Angeles and the UK the record was largely written during the last presidential election. Trumps victory and climate policies became Numans twisted inspiration leading to a concept album set in a post-global warming apocalypse. A press release describes the concept best: There is no technology left and most of the planet has turned to a desolate desert wasteland. Food is scarce water even more so and human kindness and decency are just a dim and distant memory. Western and Eastern cultures have merged more because of the need to simply survive than any feelings of greater tolerance or understanding. Its a harsh savage environment as are the survivors who still roam across it. The songs are about the things that people do in such a harsh and terrifying environment Numan said in a statement. Its about a desperate need to survive and they do awful things in order to do so and some are haunted by what theyve done. That desire to be forgiven along with some discovered remnants of an old religious book ultimately encourages religion to resurface and it really goes downhill from there.

If your order contains multiple items, it may ship from different warehouse locations. Tracking information will be sent as items are shipped.

Standard Shipping: allow 7-10 business days for delivery. Albums will be shipped via USPS Media Mail; all other products via UPS or FedEx Ground.

Expedited Shipping: allow 2-5 business days for delivery. Albums will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail; all other products via UPS or FedEx 2-Day Air.

Overnight Shipping: allow 1-2 business days for delivery. All products will be shipped via UPS or FedEx Next Day Air.

Shipping is available to the 48 contiguous United States. We are unable to ship to International, PO Box, or APO/FPO addresses.

3. Return Policy

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all products purchased from Victrola.com. All items must be returned as new in their original packaging, including all accessories and cables. Missing items will be charged based on suggested retail prices. All returns must be accompanied by a valid return authorization number (RMA) issued by Victrola. If an RMA is not obtained prior to shipping, the returned product will be refused and returned to sender. Shipping cost is not refundable and returns must be shipped prepaid by the customer. There is a 15% restocking fee that will be calculated based on the price of the product once the item is refunded.
