Limited 180gm vinyl LP repressing of this classic album from the new wave icons. The Hunter is the sixth studio album by Blondie released in May 1982. It was recorded in the fall of 1981 and January and February 1982. The Hunter was Blondies last album of new material until 1999s No Exit. The Hunter is loosely a concept album based on the theme: searching pursuing and hunting. Tracks on the album include Jimmy Destris Motown pastiche Danceway while Dragonfly has a science-fiction theme to its lyrics about a race in space. The Beast deals with Deborah Harrys experiences of becoming a public figure: I am the center of attraction by staying off the streets. English Boys is Harry and Chris Steins melancholy tribute to those English boys who had long hair The Beatles recorded the year after John Lennons assassination in New York City describing the innocence and idealism of the 60s while War Child references military conflicts in Cambodia and the Middle East. The album concludes with a cover version of Smokey Robinsons The Hunter Gets Captured by the Game originally recorded by The Marvelettes in 1967.

If your order contains multiple items, it may ship from different warehouse locations. Tracking information will be sent as items are shipped.

We make every effort to ship your order as soon as possible. However, please allow 1-3 business days for your order to process when calculating delivery dates.

Standard Shipping: allow 7-10 business days for delivery. Albums will be shipped via USPS Media Mail; all other products via UPS or FedEx Ground.

Expedited Shipping: allow 2-5 business days for delivery. Albums will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail; all other products via UPS or FedEx 2-Day Air.

Overnight Shipping: allow 1-2 business days for delivery. All products will be shipped via UPS or FedEx Next Day Air.

Shipping is available to the 48 contiguous United States. We are unable to ship to International, PO Box, or APO/FPO addresses.

3. Return Policy

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all products purchased from Victrola.com. All items must be returned as new in their original packaging, including all accessories and cables. Missing items will be charged based on suggested retail prices. All returns must be accompanied by a valid return authorization number (RMA) issued by Victrola. If an RMA is not obtained prior to shipping, the returned product will be refused and returned to sender. Shipping cost is not refundable and returns must be shipped prepaid by the customer. There is a 15% restocking fee that will be calculated based on the price of the product once the item is refunded.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase and the merchandise is unopened, we will be happy to exchange it for you. No refunds will be given on opened albums, unless damaged or defective. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable, and you will be responsible for all costs associated with return shipment.
