Frank Sinatra

As the late Joan Rivers aptly observed, Las Vegas hasn’t been the same since they chased out the mob. Perhaps it is better said that it won’t ever be Sinatra’s Vegas again. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey to Italian immigrant parents, Sinatra would define cool while being a media force for decades. With a clear lineage from Bing Crosby to the crooners who followed, Sinatra, also nicknamed “Ol’ Blue Eyes” and “Chairman of the Board,” (along with his Rat Pack cohorts) would continue to dominate the nation’s imagination well after his smooth, easy-listening style gave way to the rock ‘n roll era. Whether offering respite from the craps tables or making Danny Ocean the man before Clooney was even born, his was a singular style often mimicked but never repeated. The way Frank Sinatra sang captivated his listeners making him nearly untouchable by other artists.

With recordings capturing the nuanced power of his live performances, Sinatra put out the sort of record albums that make a house a home. Famously insisting on recording with his band (budding audio engineers: take note), Sinatra could either transport you to a Vegas ballroom or transport himself to your living room with the spin of a record. His voice, harkening to an era more complicated than nostalgia lets on, can still melt a room, and nothing captures the warmth of vinyl better than Ol’ Blue Eyes.

"I never would have thought that having a turntable untethered from my stereo would be so liberating, but it’s a game-changer. To be able to spin vinyl from anywhere — where I’m working, where I’m entertaining — seems like not a big deal until you experience it."

"Sweet little portable turntable. Love the Bluetooth functionality combined with the old school vinyl experience. Suitcase design makes it easy to take anywhere and the sound quality is awesome!"

"I have the Empire and just love it. It is designed beautifully, and I can also use it for CD's and radio. I can't believe how great it is to listen to my old records. It feels like home again."

"I am a huge Vinyl collector, I have everything from movie sound tracks to classic rock legends. However, your average radio player doesn’t play them, so I haven’t even gotten to listen to any of them! That’s when I found this product -- and I ABSOLUTELY love it!"

"First off, it just looks good. Just a stylish addition to the living room. It is really simple and sounds really good. Overall we are very happy with purchasing this record player. The quality is perfect too."
