Victrola elevates wireless vinyl experience, launches Victrola Stream Sapphire turntable with Sonos and UPnP integration

Listeners can stream vinyl in up to 24-bit/48kHz lossless FLAC audio for uncompromised sound, for those who desire the exceptional.

2024 Audio Advice Live, Raleigh, NC August 2, 2024 –Victrola, the leading manufacturer of record players, turntables, and music-related products for the home, launched its latest flagship edition to its award-winning line of Stream turntables, the Victrola Stream Sapphire. The Victrola Stream Sapphire offers enhanced connectivity solutions, allowing vinyl to stream in stunning clarity to Sonos and UPnP-compatible Wi-Fi enabled speakers and devices. The Stream Sapphire supports up to 24-bit/48kHz lossless FLAC audio.

The Victrola Stream Sapphire makes it easier than ever to wirelessly stream to a listener's preferred speaker setup, all through the Victrola Stream app. In a few easy steps, owners of Sonos speakers and compatible Wi-Fi-enabled speakers and audio devices will be able to enjoy a wireless vinyl experience with no additional equipment required.

Built from the ground up to meet the most demanding vinyl enthusiast, the Victrola Stream Sapphire is designed to produce the clearest audio possible, starting with a low-resonance MDF plinth wrapped with real walnut veneer, aluminum bezel, and height-adjustable aluminum sound-dampening feet for easy leveling and isolation. Its two-speed, brushless servo-controlled motor provides quiet and consistent speed control, while the pre-installed audiophile-grade Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge attached to a removable headshell, low-resonance carbon-fiber tonearm, and precision gimbal-bearing design allows the stylus to move effortlesslyminimizing distortion while delivering exceptional detail, dynamic range, and sound quality. Featuring the iconic Stream illuminated control knob, it provides an easy-to-use, tactile control for volume and playback directly from the turntable. The built-in pre-amp and gold-plated RCA outputs allow for playback on traditional component audio systems or modern powered speakers.

“The Victrola Stream turntable line was created out of a need to provide a seamless, integrated wireless solution to enjoy vinyl no matter where the listener is in their home. After hearing from both consumers and the integrator community, we recognized an opportunity to build on that promise by opening our ecosystem to include other popular streaming options while also elevating the turntable itself to a level we’ve never introduced in the market before,” said Victrola CEO Scott Hagen. “Victrola Stream Sapphire is a perfectly crafted audiophile-level wireless vinyl solution that meets vinyl purists’ standards while giving integrators the most versatile turntable for any project.”

The Victrola Stream Sapphire is available for pre-order at specialty audio retailers Audio Adviceand Crutchfield and will be made available on victrola.com and select custom installation dealers in mid-August for a suggested retail price of $1,299.
