Listening to vinyl is easier than ever with new Victrola Automatic Turntable.
Fully automatic, Bluetooth-enabled turntable includes switchable preamp, first-of-its-kind “Repeat” feature
DENVER, CO (Jan. 8, 2024) – Victrola, the leading manufacturer of turntables and music-related products in the home for more than 115 years, today announced the launch of the Victrola Automatic, a fully automatic turntable that combines ease of use with the brand’s sleek, modern design aesthetic. Along with standard play and tonearm lowering/raising functions, Victrola Automatic also offers more modern features, including Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a first-of-its-kind “Repeat” feature to continuously repeat the side of a vinyl record, which eliminates unwanted pauses and tonearm resets during listening sessions.
The development of the Victrola Automatic was guided by four basic principles; ease of use, ease of setup, quality sound, and elevated design. Its front-facing illuminated power and output selection button is complemented by its additional control buttons that sit flush with the turntable for an easy-to-use, intuitive user experience. The turntable’s tonearm features an Audio Technica AT-3600L moving magnetic cartridge attached to a fixed headshell and counterweight, providing high-quality sound reproduction without the need to manually queue the record.
“Our team has been working on a fully automatic turntable design for over three years. But we weren’t going to release it to the market until we had something that looks better, performs better, and is easier to use than any other turntable on the market in its class,” said Scott Hagen, CEO of Victrola. “Three years later, I’m more than confident to say Victrola has delivered. We again, have a product that has ignored the old conventional approach on behalf of new customer's needs, and it’s resulted in a beautiful, easy-to-use, quality, and affordable turntable.”
Designed for versatility when it comes to sound system setups, the Victrola Automatic features both wired and wireless outputs to match today's variety of preferences. For listeners who prefer a more analog setup, RCA outputs with a switchable preamp can be used with both powered speakers or more high-end systems that utilize an external preamp. The Victrola Automatic also includes Bluetooth output for both speakers and headphones for listeners who prefer additional convenience.
The Victrola Automatic will be available this Spring at Victrola.com and other major retail outlets for a suggested retail price of $199.
