Tim Keller: No Stranger to Wishes

Kellers songwriting and arrangements are outstanding. His music is fresh and upbeat yet he retains the storytelling principles of folk music. The album has a Tex-Mex influence to it which is especially appealing. Originally from Los Angeles Keller at one time spent a year immersed in the traditional music of southern Appalachia. He left there by bus and traveled around the country eventually settling in Texas. After eight years he left Texas and now lives in New Mexico. His music has traces of country pop and blues. He tells stories of the American Southwest hard-working people and those who live south of the border and yearn for a life in America. His influences range from Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen to Delbert McClinton and Jesse Winchester. No Stranger to Wishes was recorded in Austin with local musicians and contains beautiful songs. Especially good are Spanish Johnny a soulful song and Darcys Song a tender tune written for his daughter. -- Tulsa World No Stranger to Wishes sports a full backing band and Kellers arrangements involve considerable use of mandolin and fiddle. His poetic lyricism introduces a range of curious characters and the albums standout track Across the Borderland addresses the border immigration issue. Expedited Shipping: allow 2-5 business days for delivery. Albums will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail; all other products via UPS or FedEx 2-Day Air.

Overnight Shipping: allow 1-2 business days for delivery. All products will be shipped via UPS or FedEx Next Day Air.

Shipping is available to the 48 contiguous United States. We are unable to ship to International, PO Box, or APO/FPO addresses. 

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all products purchased from Victrola.com. All items must be returned as new in their original packaging, including all accessories and cables. Missing items will be charged based on suggested retail prices. All returns must be accompanied by a valid return authorization number (RMA) issued by Victrola. If an RMA is not obtained prior to shipping, the returned product will be refused and returned to sender.
